About

Teachcricket.com is a genuine cricket development company, working in schools and clubs on a daily basis. It is from this experience that we are able to offer you free innovative drills and practises along with advice on and access to quality products at very competitive prices.

For over twenty years, company owner Richard O’Sullivan, has coached players of all ages in the school, club and representative environments. In 1992 he began a five year project with fellow coach Robert Thomas to create a user-friendly and practical resource to help teachers and coaches introduce and develop the game. This became the publication Teach Cricket which has sold over 20,000 copies worldwide and has since been adopted by the International Cricket Council as a global development program resource.

Whilst the company has subsequently gone on to produce a number of other cricket development publications, including ICC Cricket, we are conscious never to lose our roots as everyday cricket deliverers. The majority of this work is carried out by Richard and his team as Bexley District Cricket. This offers our coaches not only an in-depth knowledge of how clubs and schools operate but also vitally provides the diverse experiences that help us to understand the everyday demands placed on teachers, coaches and administrators.

Via this site we are able to freely share many of our drills and are fortunate to be able to join with Sports Directory UK, one of the UK’s largest and most respected school sport supply companies, to bring you our shop with access to many quality products, useful to those across the teaching, coaching and administration community.
